The Musser family of Milton, Iowa gave up farming to make artisanal cheeses the old fashioned way. They source their milk from their neighbors who are small, family owned Amish and Mennonite farms less than 30 miles from the creamery. Enjoy on a charcuterie board, grated on salads or soups, in mac-n-cheese, melted on burgers, sandwiches, scalloped potatoes, casseroles.
Taste: Mild, creamy, sweet and savory with caramelized onions.
