Snowfields is an artisan, farmstead cheese made and aged by Saxon Creamery in Malone, WI. This 5th generation family of cheesemakers uses Autumn and Winter milk from their grass-fed cows to produce this aged, butterkäse-style cheese. Enjoy Snowfields with crusty, hearty breads and soups.
Taste: Rich and buttery with hay and nutty flavors and Parmesan notes.
Pairings: Chardonnay or Rose wines; Pilsner, IPA, or a slightly sweet German Weiss beer.
Made with raw cow's milk and traditional rennet.
