Produced by Käserei Champignon, a family owned company in Bavaria, Germany from the milk of free grazing alpine cow’s, Grand Noir Blue is cold-ripened (aged in cold cellars) in it’s black wax shell which creates an extra creamy cheese. Enjoy with salami or prosciutto; pears, red grapes or pomegranate; crusty bread or pumpernickel bread; mixed nuts or chocolate. Taste: Extremely creamy, sharp & sweet. Pairings: Port, Sauternes, Sherry, Tokaji. Made with pasteurized cow's milk and vegetarian rennet.
