Bufflonne Rousse d'Argental

Made exclusively for Fromi in the same way as the Brebirousse d’Argental, this cheese is made in Bergamo, Italy using fresh, whole buffalo milk. The cheese is gently rinsed with brine and colored with annatto, the texture is that of a brie-like triple cream that ‘oozes’ when ripe. Enjoy on a cheese board with: rustic baguette, crackers, cured ham, dried marinated tomatoes, black or green olives; honey or raspberry jam. Taste: Soft and smooth texture; rich, creamy, buttery, sweet, nutty, complex taste. Pairings: Pinot Noir; Cider. Made with pasteurized buffalo's milk and traditional rennet.
