An Italian original, Grana Padano was first made in the 12th century by the Cistercian monks who were excited to have discovered how to make a longer lasting cheese. Perfect grating cheese; use over pasta, risotto, pizza, soups & salads. Taste: Delicate, sweet, caramel and a fruity flavor. Pairings: Italian reds. Made with raw cow's milk and traditional rennet.
