Awarded “the cheese that goes with
the most variety of beverages” at
the Slow Food Show, Sbrinz is an original to Switzerland and is believed to have been copycatted by the Italians to create their Parmigiano Reggiano. The hard “golden nuggets” that break off this hard cheese is made from the milk of free range cows that graze in the Alps during the
summer months. Enjoy grated over bruschetta with tomato and basil or pasta.
Taste: Mild and extremely balanced with a
rich mouthfeel.
Pairing: Gruner Veltliner.
Made with raw cow's milk and traditional rennet.
