A 1700’s British original made for special occasions, it soon became popular in the ploughman’s lunch. Infused with sage, an herb they believed to have therapeutic properties, it is a lovely green marbled cheese. Beautiful on a cheeseboard; melts well; enjoy with fresh fruits, vegetables and poultry dishes.
Taste: Mild cheddar & mild sage flavor.
Pairings: Chardonnay.
Made with pasteurized cow's milk and traditional rennet.
