This artisanal, Gold winning feta is made by Kris Lloyd, a self taught Australian cheesemaker. This unique feta is a marriage of fresh curds rolled in lemon myrtle— from the farm next door—with additional lemon myrtle and seasonal herbs added to the jars. The water buffalo milk comes from a buffalo dairy in Mypolonga, Australia where all their milk is used exclusive by Kris Lloyd. Use as you would a goat’s feta.
Taste: Rich, creamy, fresh, bright and citrusy.
Pairings: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Alberino, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Chablis, Prosecco; Wheat Ales.
Made with pasteurized buffalo's milk and vegetarian rennet.
