With "Rahm" (meaning cream has been added to the curds) in its name, this Austrian cheese is made by a dairy cooperative, using only milk from non-GMO hay, and they are dedicated to natural, non-GMO milk from a region known for its alpine fields of herbs and grasses. Enjoy with rye bread, a soft pretzels, crostini’s, oat or water crackers and potato dishes.
Taste: Mild, soft, creamy and buttery with buttermilk notes.
Pairings: Pinot Blanc or young red wines; Hefeweizen or light lagers.
