Produced in the Rioja region of Spain, just 2 1/2 hours from the French border, by the four Martinez brothers and their families, Los Cameros is an artisanal, 3-milk cheese that is aged with an olive oil rubbed rind. You may find small ‘eyes’ or holes distributed throughout the paste. Enjoy with other Spanish foods like: Pan de barra, Serrano ham, chorizo, olives, Valencia almonds.
Taste: Mild, well balanced and complex;
pleasantly acidic with a long finish.
Pairings: Rioja.
Made with pasteurized cow, goat, and sheep's milk and traditional rennet.
