Hand-crafted by Klein River Cheese--a family-run business for over 20 years--this gouda-style cheese has an edible rind hand rubbed with rooibos tea. This South African creamery, located 20 minutes from the South Atlantic Ocean, uses grass-fed Jersey cows milk to make their farmstead cheeses. Enjoy on a cheese board with sweet jams and preserves, pears, figs, nuts, and balsamic vinegar. Taste: Firm with grassy, earthy notes. Pairings: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Dry or Off-Dry Riesling, Pinot Grigio. Made with pasteurized cow's milk and microbial rennet.
